| Abstract: | Tan Hwee Hock can be included in the select company of famous sportsmen who have won gold medals at international sports events. He achieved this remarkable feat when he represented Singapore in water polo at the 1954 Asian Games in the Philippines. He has devoted 55 years of his life to swimming and water polo as a national champion, lecturer, Physical Education specialist, administrator and technical adviser.
